IOP was great at AdCare. Three hour sessions seemed like a long time and overwhelming, but the staff and the discussions were amazing and made the time fly by. I learned a lot about myself and my recovery after my stay in Residency. It helped me get back into a routine and held me accountable in the early stages of managing my recovery outside of the inpatient program. Five stars for sure and if you need help, this is the number one place to go. Standing Ovation to the whole staff at this facility. I couldn’t have done it without you!

Before coming to AdCare, I tried treatment at other places, but nothing ever worked. It wasn't until I went through detox at AdCare Hospital and got unbelievable care and then moved into their virtual outpatient care and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that everything changed for me. It took me a few tries, but they never gave up on me—even when I had completely given up on myself. ​I attended IOP with clinician Gladys, and she runs an absolutely unbelievable program. She taught me so much, gave me the tools i need to handle this disease, and never stopped believing in me. On top of that, I also have 1-on-1 counseling sessions with Gladys where I can really personalize my own recovery journey. It takes a very special kind of person to do this work, and Gladys is just an amazing human being. Graduating from her IOP was a huge moment for me. ​Now, I’m in two virtual groups that keep me grounded: Mondays at 10:30 a.m. with Marline, and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. with Elizabeth, the clinical manager. What amazing groups these are! Marline and Elizabeth are such incredible, compassionate people. They create a safe space for us without any judgment. They show what true compassion looks like every single day. ​These groups remind me that I’m not alone. We all have the same disease, but we each have different stories that matter, and they always make sure we feel seen and heard. These outpatient groups are so important—they literally teach us how to live, laugh, and to forgive ourselves. AdCare holds such a high standard, and honestly, i think all of their clinicians are amazing. ​Thank you to AdCare, Gladys, Marline, and Elizabeth for everything—and thank you for saving lives! ​— From Millie

This group is so wonderful to me lisa is a fantastic person. She is very knowledgeable and I truly enjoy participating with all the other members. I look forward to joining the group in the evening and this is truly a great support system that is helping me stay sober, stable, and emotionally. Happy.
