The staff is amazing and the peace the place brought into my life was life changing

I had such an amazing experience at Oxford Treatment Center. I suffer from extreme anxiety and panic attacks, and I was dreading going to treatment. My family got me on the phone with OTC, and they walked me through the entire admissions process from the very beginning. I was in a state of unease, but they handled me with such care, kindness, and respect for my feelings that I felt seen and heard. When I first arrived for the admissions process, I was still so damn confused and nervous, but I felt comforted by the staff. They assured me it was normal to feel that way, and it would get better. During admissions, I met my friend Deona, who I ended up rooming with at Etta and now at Resolutions. She’s been a good friend to me through this, and I don't know what I would do without her. She's helped me grow as a person and it is really great watching her flourish in her recovery as well. Anyways, back to recovery! It was crazy how comfortable we were during detox. I am so used to detox being absolutely miserable, with painful withdrawal, no sleep, not being able to eat, freezing, etc. It was the exact opposite! The entire process I slept through! Afterwards, when I went to the outpatient facility, I was so excited to get out of bed and get back to doing things outside and get to meet some other people who were also in recovery. We attended meetings and learned about coping skills, communication skills, healthy relationships, boundaries, relapse prevention, holistic wellness, trauma recovery, self-care, and more. I am just scratching the surface!! Not only did I learn skills that I can use to help improve my life, but we also got to incorporate equine therapy (AKA horses) into our daily routine, art therapy, and music therapy! Right along with fishing, volleyball, a maze, trails, beautiful scenery, and don’t forget the geese! I am beyond impressed with Oxford Treatment Center! The staff always treat us with 100000% care; they love us, and it really shows!!!!! Special shoutout to Barry, Sakedra, Shelby, Hannah, Ericka, Ambrielle, Darius, Nadyia, and everyone else!!!!! They are amazing!! I have learned so much about myself from coming to this place. I wish that people would and could come to treatment. I truly believe that everyone could benefit from taking a step back and being still for a moment. It really does the soul some good to be out in the sticks like we were at OTC or Etta, as we call it! ❤️ I know that I am better mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally for coming here. I 10292836473% recommend this place! I almost forgot: not pictured is the community doggy, sweet Sadie! I miss her so much! I am currently at Resolutions: Sober Living. I love it, and I miss it so much at Etta, but I am thankful for growth, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me. I am thankful for my sobriety. It isn’t easy, but it is worth it. I am fighting for myself, and I haven’t had to do it alone. OTC is fighting for my sobriety with me. ❤️

I can not begin to express my gratitude for the Oxford treatment center for my new found hope for the future! I chose to come here after my daughter completed this program almost 2 yrs ago and remained sober and now has costody of her children. I look at her with so much pride and admiration. I just want her to look at me the same so I’ve chosen to continue my journey to resolutions just as she did to figure this whole sobriety thing out, and with the help of Oxford treatment team I now have hope that I can finally beat this addiction crap!! And the gratitude I have for these people is unmeasurable not only for myself but for my first born child as well!!! Thank you Oxford Treatment Center.!! I love yall and I mean that from the bottom of my heart

This is a wonderful place, especially if you are struggling to get clean and/or stay clean. Its almost magical with all they have to offer. There's a huge pond to fish in, horse rides that are a true blast to go on, there's different sports you can play, and so on and so on. The staff is absolutely amazing, they truely care about the patients and it shows everyday I woke up here. Definitely the best decision I ever made. I think if I had gone to any other normal rehab it wouldn't have opened my eyes like OTC has. Im truely great full to everyone for all the knowledge and help I've received here.
