Recovery First Treatment Center is an American Addiction Centers (AAC) facility that specializes in inpatient drug and alcohol rehab services. Serving the Miami-Ft Lauderdale area, we offer a highly supportive environment, evidence-based addiction treatment, and numerous amenities—all of which help you begin and maintain a lasting recovery.

Recovery First Treatment Center provides the personal care and attention you need for your addiction recovery, with small groups and treatment plans catered specifically to you. At Recovery First, the staff and patients will feel just like family.

In the event of a relapse at any time post-treatment, American Addiction Centers, Inc. will provide qualified individuals with up to an additional 30 consecutive days of treatment at one of its facilities at no additional cost to you. Some people think of it as a treatment guaranty – to us, us it’s our brand promise.

Our COVID-19 protocols
Patients: We screens all patients prior to admission to determine personal travel history, potential exposure, potential contact with someone who has traveled to areas of concern, any direct contact by the patients with persons diagnosed with COVID-19, and any symptoms of illness. Those who screen positive will not be admitted to treatment. Those who screen negative will be eligible for admission.
Staff: We are committed to ensuring staff at our facilities are not infected with COVID-19 virus. Staff who have traveled to areas of concern, have been in contact with someone in these areas, have been in direct contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or shows any signs of illness are asked to follow the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, which dictates 14 days of isolation with no symptoms from the time of contact.

Best experience I've had in a whole, but for my first recovery I was really helped by Gilbert, the therapists Tiffany and Rachel as well as Mark, and I would also like to shout out the tech team, they're the best, and they have an up and coming facilitator named saif, his topic of discussion is superb, and last but not least my case manager Nicole was the absolute best, she help settle my legal affairs and is just the most attentive to her case load. I'm my opinion, their an absolute dream team

Great place for recovery! I appreciate the helpful, caring staff from the TA’s, nurses, therapist and Gilbert. Shout out to my therapist Cindy for working with me and advocating for me while my time here. Appreciate the TA’s for their kind gestures including Keith, Wendy, Anthony and Simone. Melina and Saif are awesome facilitators that make your day better. If you’re looking for help, this is a great place. Thank you AAC.

This is a great place to recovery.The staff is great as well Nate Gibert and Keith and Patrick Bill and the nurse staff is great Nyteia Jordan Danielle as well and my counselor Melina and Cindy is awesome they go out there way to care and make me feel comfortable since I came here with the clothes on my feet 🐾 one the best counselor I ever had. The only thing I would change is pillows and bedding
